The Real Reason I Built The Psych NP Collaborative

I want to say something plainly, because I think it's gotten lost: this platform was never built to hand you another side hustle.

It exists to teach a real financial freedom system. Get your foundation right first (that's what the free Starter Guide was created to do), build the full plan in the Course, and stay supported in the Community instead of doing it alone. A path with a beginning, a middle, and an end, not a pile of income streams you have to keep managing forever.

That's the mission I lead with, and it's true. But it's not the whole story.

What the numbers don't show

I paid off $224K in debt. I built multiple income streams. I redesigned my career so I now work two days a week doing work I actually love.

On paper, that reads like a strategy story. Budget here, income stream there, done. And the strategy is real. I teach it because it works.

But strategy alone doesn't explain why I kept going in the years it wasn't working yet. When the debt number barely moved. When I was building something new after a full clinical week and had no idea if any of it would hold.

The part I usually leave out

My faith is why I kept going.

I didn't build this platform because I saw a gap in the market. I built it because I believed, long before there was any evidence, that this work was something I was meant to do. Not just qualified to do. Meant to do.

Paying off that debt wasn't a spreadsheet win. It was a lot of showing up scared, praying through the parts I couldn't control, and trusting the discipline would eventually turn into freedom. It did. But I didn't know that while I was in it.

I don't lead with this on the platform, because I want the system, the Starter Guide, the Course, the Community, to stand on its own regardless of what you believe. But underneath it is a conviction that this work matters beyond the numbers, and that no nurse practitioner should have to build this kind of freedom alone.

Why this matters for you

I created The Psych NP Collaborative so other NPs could have the community, clarity, and financial confidence I wish I'd had. That's still the mission. Faith is just the reason I had the staying power to build it.
